I was photographing in Costa Mesa this past weekend. I had few sessions scheduled some of which cancelled at the last minute and some that still happened. Pete + Luz are a great couple getting married in February 2010 and I have some great photos of them to share. They chose a black top attire with jeans, this combination is great to slim down the body. My only suggestions to them were to go with a solid top instead of patterns and jeans of course because they go well with the California lifestyle. For engagement sessions I love to photograph with the Canon 70-200 2.8 IS and a 5D body. This allows me to photograph from a distance allowing my clients lots of privacy and intimacy. I will use my primes, the 50mm and the 85 which I love to use a lot, and with these lenses I'm pretty set for most of the session. The Lab is a nice little place to have e-sessions, it's urbanin-ish and  boutique-ish, there a few small stores and a few restaurants and the people are very casual, they'll see you shooting and just totally ignore you, so it's very comfortable and appealing to my clients. Anyway hope you enjoy these.

Heisler Park, oh what an awesome place!!  I highly recommend it for wedding day photos and engagement day photos.  I love the cliffs, the palm trees, the grassy area and of course the Pacific Ocean,  it's the California Riviera at it's finest. Danielle & Kyle  look so good together,  smiling, laughing, enjoying each other's company, "Love is in the air."  Had a great time with you guys Danielle & Kyle!!
